The Genesis Fortitude Single Speed 2012 Mountain Bike is a rigid specific mountain bike, you can't run it with suspension, it's based around a 445mm rigid fork, ensuring the front end stays nice and low. A relatively slack head angle (69.5 degrees) gives a super stable ride and despite the rigid fork this is a very capable singletrack destroyer. Being a Singlespeed it will feature cable guides for the rear disc brakes only. Two bottle cage mounts, one on the seat tube and one on the downtube. Some people don't like the look of a plastic mudguard under the downtube, but for wet & muddy winter rides they're a blessing, so Crud/Cycra mounts under the downtube come as standard. This is a 29er in its purist form, simple to clean, simple to maintain and hugely satisfying to ride.
